Freelance Graphic Designer & Illustrator

Hi I'm Emily,

I have been working freelance as a graphic designer for 4 to 5 years, with a 1st class graphic design degree. Experience in brand development, logo design, creating brand colour palettes, business cards, brochures, business presentations, environmentally friendly packaging concepts, advertising online and poster design. I've worked as an event photographer, creating content and running social media profiles. Designed websites to the finished published piece, transferring domains and creating a brand identity. Illustration commissions are my passion, focusing on continuous line drawings & block colour paintings.

  • TURACO VALLEY FOODS

    Website design and published finished site. Domain transfer. Brand development.

  • Logo update, creating a colour palette, designing an email header & editing images for social media.

  • BEARDED KITTEN

    Event Illustration for a creative experiences agency. Mood boarded brief consisted of continuous line drawing imagery and sketched patterns with lively line motifs.

  • Together we came up with these designs, which were overlaid on a pitch presentation with modern typography to reinforce the information and show the creative direction.

  • PAINTINGS

    Acrylic paintings on canvas. Colourful still life illustrations, based on summer picnics.

  • SEASLUG

    Applying patterns & prints to sustainable beachwear made from recycled plastics.

  • Repeat patterns inspired by the spectrum of patterned markings and colours of seaslugs.

  • Created for slugging around sunbathing and enjoying the beaches nature.

  • AWEARNESS

    Co-founder, illustrator, graphic designer & fabric printer.

  • We are a sustainable fashion brand, spreading awearness of less loved endangered animals.

  • Handprinted lino cut illustrations, in eco waterbased ink. All our garments are made of sustainble fabrics, mostly hemp and organic cotton.

    First class honours degree in Graphic Design from Lincoln University, personally focusing on illustration and paper engineering.
